Randy Ventura traded to Reds
Randy Ventura was traded by the Atlanta Braves to the Cincinnati Reds on August 4, 2017 for international signing bonus pool space. The outfielder had hit 112 for 381, .281/.338/.325 with 1 HR, 16 RBI, 46 R, 29 SB in 95 games at Class A Rome in 2017. He originally signed with the Braves in 2015 as an amateur free agent out of the Dominican Republic. Ventura turned 20 on July 11.
