Ryan Burr traded to White Sox

Ryan Burr was traded by the Arizona Diamondbacks to the Chicago White Sox on August 11, 2017 for international signing bonus pool space. The RHP had split 2017 between Class A Kane County and Class A Advanced Visalia. He was 1-2, 2.81 ERA, 46 K, 1.38 WHIP, .244 BAA, 4 SV in 32.0 IP over 22 games at Kane County and 1-0, 0.72 ERA, 29 K, 0.76 WHIP, .160 BAA, 1 SV in 25.0 IP over 17 games at Visalia. He was originally drafted by the Diamondbacks in the fifth round in 2015. Burr turned 23 on May 28.
