Jake Cave of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders was selected the International League July 2017 Player of the Month. For the month he hit 41 for 105, .390/.439/.667 with 6 2B, 1 3B, 7 HR, 21 RBI, 25 R, 1 SB and 10 BB in 26 games. This season the outfielder is hitting 67 for 187, .358/.406/.652 with 13 HR, 33 RBI, 36 R, 1 SB in 48 games at SWB and 34 for 128, .266/.317/.516 with 5 HR, 18 RBI, 19 R, 1 SB in 31 games at Double A Trenton. Scranton/Wilkes-Barre is the Triple A team of the New York Yankees.  He was originally drafted by the Yankees in the sixth round in 2011. Cave turned 24 on December 4th.
