Jose Siri of the Dayton Dragons was selected the Midwest League July 2017 Player of the Month. For the month he hit 43 for 125, .344/.362/.680 with 6 2B, 3 3B, 10 HR, 21 RBI, 22 R, 6 SB and 5 BB in 28 games. This season the outfielder is hitting 121 for 410, .295/.339/.524 with 19 HR, 60 RBI, 71 R, 34 SB in 104 games. Dayton is the Class A team of the Cincinnati Reds. He originally signed with the Reds in 2012 as an amateur free agent out of the Dominican Republic. Siri turned 22 on July 22.
