Travis Snider traded to Mets
Travis Snider was traded by the Texas Rangers to the New York Mets on August 15, 2017 for cash. The outfielder hit 106 for 361, .294/.375/.435 with 9 HR, 44 RBI, 50 R, 2 SB in 100 games at Triple A Round Rock in 2017. Over eight MLB seasons with the Pirates, Orioles and Blue Jays he hit .244/.311/.399 with 54 HR, 212 RBI, 214 R, 22 SB in 630 games. He was originally drafted by the Blue Jays with the 14th pick of the first round in 2006. Snider turned 29 on February 2nd.
