Logan Verrett was traded by the New York Mets to the Baltimore Orioles on November 30, 2016 for cash. The RHP split 2016 between Triple A Las Vegas and the Mets. He was 2-0, 1.50 ERA, 5 K, 1.33 WHIP, .188 BAA in 12.0 IP over 2 games at Las Vegas and 3-8, 5.20 ERA, 66 K, 1.56 WHIP, .283 BAA in 91.2 IP over 35 games with 12 GS. Over two MLB seasons with the Mets and Rangers he was 4-10, 4.65 ERA, 105 K, 1.38 WHIP, .257 BAA, 1 SV in 139.1 IP over 53 games with 16 GS. He was originally drafted by the Mets in the third round in 2011. Verrett turned 26 on June 19.
