James Pazos traded to Mariners

James Pazos was traded by the New York Yankees to the Seattle Mariners on November 18, 2016. The Yankees in exchange received Zack Littell. 

LHP Pazos split 2016 between Class A Staten Island, Triple A Scranton\Wilkes-Barre and the Yankees. He was 0-0, 0.00 ERA, 6 K, 1.09 WHIP, .231 BAA in 3.2 IP over 2 games at Staten Island, 2-2, 2.63 ERA, 41 K, 1.39 WHIP, .194 BAA, 1 SV in 27.1 IP over 23 games at SWB and 1-0, 13.50 ERA, 3 K, 2.40 WHIP, .438 BAA in 3.1 IP over 7 games with the Yankees. Over two MLB seasons with the Yankees he was 1-0, 5.40 ERA. 6 K, 1.68 WHIP, .303 BAA in 8.1 IP over 18 games. He was originally drafted by the Yankees in the 13th round in 2012. Pazos turned 25 on May 5th.

RHP Littell split 2016 between Class A Clinton and Class A Advanced Bakersfield. He was 5-5, 2.76 ERA, 95 K, 1.18 WHIP, .258 BAA in 97.2 IP over 16 games at Clinton and 8-1, 2.51 ERA, 61 K, 1.13 WHIP, .246 BAA in 68.0 IP over 12 games at Bakersfield. He was originally drafted by the Mariners in the 11th round in 2013. Littell turned 21 on October 5th.
