Greg Allen of the Mesa Solar Sox was selected the Arizona Fall League Player of the Week for the span of October 24, 2016 through October 30, 2016. For the week he hit 7 for 17, .412/.474/1.000 with 1 2B, 3 HR, 7 RBI, 6 R, 1 SB and 2 BB in 4 games. This fall the outfielder is hitting 15 for 43, .349/.440/.651 with 3 HR, 8 RBI, 10 R, 5 SB in 12 games.
The Indians prospect had split the 2016 season between Class A Advanced Lynchburg and Double A Akron. He hit .298/.424/.402 with 4 HR, 31 RBI, 93 R, 38 SB in 92 games at Lynchburg and .290/.399/.441 with 3 HR, 13 RBI, 26 R, 7 SB in 37 games at Akron. He was originally drafted by the Indians in the sixth round in 2014. Allen will be 24 on March 15.
