Chris Devenski traded to Astros

Chris Devenski was traded by the Chicago White Sox to the Houston Astros on August 4, 2012 to complete the Brett Myers deal. RHP Devenski was pitching with the White Sox Class A team in Kannapolis. In 2012 he was 6-5 with a 4.23 ERA, 54 K, 1.33 WHIP, 2 SV in 61.2 IP over 19 games with Kannapolis. He was originally drafted by the White Sox in the 25th round in 2011. Devenski will be 22 on November 13.
