Garrett Mock traded to Astros
Garrett Mock was traded by the Boston Red Sox to the Houston Astros for future considerations. Mock had three seasons of MLB experience with the Washington Nationals 2008 to 2010 but in 2012 was pitching with the Red Sox Triple A team in Pawtuckett. He was 3-2 with a 3.33 ERA, 53 K, 1.48 WHIP, 5 SV in 48.2 Ip over 35 games with Pawtuckett. For his MLB career he is 4-13 with a 5.17 ERA, 121 K, 1.67 WHIP in 135.2 IP over 55 games. He was originally drafted by the Diamondbacks in the third round in 2004. Mock turned 29 on April 25.
