Pat Neshek traded to Athletics

Pat Neshek was traded by the Baltimore Orioles to the Oakland Athletics on August 3, 2012 in exchange for cash. RHP Neshek is in his sixth MLB season playing for the Padres and Twins. In 2012 he was with the Oriole Triple A team in Norfolk where he was 3-2 with a 2.66 ERA, 49 K, 1.11 WHIP, 11 SV in 44.0 IP over 35 games. For his MLB career he is 12-7 with a 3.15 ERA, 175 K, 1.10 WHIP in 157.1 IP over 159 games. He was originally drafted by the Twins in the sixth round in 2002. Neshek will be 32 on September 4th.
