Ryan Spilborghs traded to Rangers
Ryan Spilborghs was traded by the Cleveland Indians to the Texas Rangers on May 4, 2012 in exchange for cash. He is an outfielder who signed with Indians in January 2012 after 7 seasons with the Colorado Rockies. This season he was playing at Triple A Round Rock while hitting .250/.341/.333 with 1 HR, 13 RBI, 12 R and 0 SB in 21 games. For his career with the Rockies he hit .272/.345/.423 with 42 HR, 218 RBI, 222 R and 31 SB in 619 games. He was originally drafted by the Rockies in the seventh round in 2002. Spilborghs will turn 33 on September 5.
