Jonathan Lucroy breaks hand

Milwaukee Brewers catcher Jonathan Lucroy will miss four to six weeks with a broken hand. Injuries are part of the game but this was an off field accident. Lucroy broke his right hand when a suitcase fell on it in his hotel room. This goes right along with the dislocated ankle suffered by Joba Chamberlain on a trampoline and shoulder injured by Jeremy Guthrie falling off his bicycle. His bat will be greatly missed in the Brewers' line up as he has hit .345/.387/.583 with 5 HR, 30 RBI, 17 R and 2 SB in 43 games. He was really heating the last seven games hitting .417 (10 for 24) with 3 HR, 10 RBI, 7 R and 0 SB. Hopefully it is a speedy recovering for Lucroy who is developing into one of the game's better offensive catchers.
