Robert Andino traded to Mariners

Robert Andino was traded by the Baltimore Orioles to the Seattle Mariners on November 20, 2012. In exchange the Orioles received Trayvon Robinson.

Andino is a 2B\SS\3B with 8 seasons MLB experience playing with the Orioles and Marlins. In 2012 he hit .211/.283/.305 with 7 HR, 28 RBI, 41 R, 5 SB in 127 games. For his MLB career he has hit .235/.296/.323 with 18 HR, 92 RBI, 152 R, 24 SB in 439 games. He was originally drafted by the Marlins in the second round in 2002. Andino turned 28 on April 25.

Robinson is an outfielder with 2 seasons MLB experience both with the Mariners. He split 2012 between Triple A Tacoma and Seattle. He hit .265/.331/.409 with 9 HR, 41 RBI, 50 R, 19 SB in 83 games with Tacoma and hit .221/.294/.324 with 3 HR, 12 RBI, 16 R, 6 SB in 46 games with Seattle. He was originally drafted by the Dodgers in the tenth round in 2005. Robinson turned 25 on September 1st.
