Mike Baxter of the New York Mets was 0 for 0 with 5 walks in a 6-2 victory over the Padres August 4. This season I had seen sever three walk games and a few four walk games but this is the first I noticed where a player drew five walks. It was a nice way to not affect the batting average but raise the OBP. On the season he is now hitting .301/.422/.479 with 0 HR, 10 RBI, 16 R, 3 SB in 45 games with New York. In his MLB career the outfielder has hit .270/.349/.443 with 1 HR, 15 RBI, 22 R, 3 SB in 76 games.
