Athletics call up Dan Straily

The Oakland Athletics have called up RHP Dan Straily. He had split 2012 between Double A Midland and Triple A Sacramento. He was 3-4 with a 3.38 ERA, 108 K, 1.09 WHIP in 85.1 IP over 14 games with Midland and was 5-2 with a 1.36 ERA, 67 K, 0.77 WHIP in 53.0 IP over 8 games with Sacramento. He was originally drafted by the Athletics in the 24th round in 2009. Straily will be 24 on December 1st.
