Matt Rizzotti traded to Twins

Matt Rizzotti was traded by the Philadelphia Phillies to the Minnesota Twins on March 30, 2012 in exchange for cash. Rizzotti should provide depth at first base. He played at Double A in 2011 and hit .295/.392/.511 with 24 home runs, 84 RBI, 73 runs and 4 steals in 139 games. He was originally drafted by the Phillies in the sixth round in 2007.
