Aaron Kurcz traded to Red Sox as compensation for Theo Epstein
Aaron Kurcz was traded by the Chicago Cubs to the Boston Red Sox on March 15, 2012 to complete the transaction as compensation for Theo Epstein. Kurcz was originally drafted by the Cubs in the 11th round in 2010. The RHP pitched 2011 at Class A Advanced and was 5-4 with a 3.28 ERA, 91 strikeouts and 1.23 WHIP in 82.1 innings over 32 games.
