Greg Golson traded to White Sox
Greg Golson was traded by the Kansas City Royals to the Chicago White Sox on March 25, 2012 in exchange for cash. The outfielder was originally drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies with the 21st pick of the first round in 2004. He was traded to the Rangers in November 2008 and then traded to the Yankees in January 2010. He split 2011 between Triple A and the Yankees as he hit .263/.330/.385 with eight home runs, 33 RBI, 55 runs and 15 steals in 105 Triple A games and hit .182/.250/.182 with zero home runs, zero RBI, one run and one steal in nine games with the Yankees. The Yankees released him on December 8, 2011 and the Royals signed him on December 13.
