Exhibition Yomiuri Giants 9 Seattle Mariners 3 032612

The Yomiuri Giants defeated the Seattle Mariners 9-3 in an Exhibition game on March 26, 2012. D.J. Houlton of the Giants out pitched Hisashi Iwakumi over his five innings to earn the victory. Houlton allowed  three hits, two walks and two earned runs while striking out two. Iwakumi failed to get past the fourth inning as he allowed 10 hits, zero walks and six earned runs while striking out one. The Mariners top hitters were Dustin Ackley who was two for three with a home run, one RBI and two runs and Kyle Seager who was one for three with a walk and one RBI. The Giants top hitters were Hayato Sakamoto who was two for five with two RBI and one run, John Bowker who was three for five with one home run, one RBI and two runs, Hisayoshi Chono who was two for four with one run, Shuichi Murata who was two for five with two RBI, Yoshinobu Takahashi who was two for four with two runs and Yoshiyuki Kamei who was two for three with one home run, one RBI and two runs. The Mariners had two errors and the Giants and one error in the game.
