Justin Haley traded to Twins in 3 team deal
Justin Haley was traded by the San Diego Padres to the Minnesota Twins on December 8, 2016. That was the final transaction on a day that saw RHP Haley briefly spend time with four different organizations. He started the day with the Boston Red Sox and was selected by the Los Angeles Angels in the Rule 5 draft. The Angels then sent him to the Padres for a PTBNL or cash. Finally was the above transaction that sent Haley and a PTBNL to the Twins in exchange for RHP Miguel Diaz who the Twins had selected first in the Rule 5 draft.
