Noel Cuevas of the Hartford Yard Goats was selected the Eastern League July 2016 Player of the Month. For the month he hit 37 for 87, .425/.440/.598 with 7 2B, 1 3B, 2 HR, 14 RBI, 16 R, 2 SB and 4 BB in 23 games. This season the outfielder is hitting .396/.410/.564 with 2 HR, 16 RBI, 18 R, 2 SB in 26 games at Hartford and .234/.293/.328 with 1 HR, 8 RBI, 13 R, 4 SB in 44 games at Triple A Albuquerque. Hartford is the Double A team of the Colorado Rockies. He was originally drafted by the Dodgers in the 21st round in 2010 and was traded to the Rockies in 2014. Cuevas will be 25 on October 2nd.
