Michael McKenry traded to Brewers

Michael McKenry was traded by the Atlanta Braves to the Milwaukee Brewers on August 15, 2016 for cash. It will be his fourth organization of the season. He started with Triple A Round Rock of the Rangers, The split time between Triple A Memphis and the Cardinals and was then with Triple A Gwinnett of the Braves. He hit 9 for 41, .220/.389/.341 with 0 HR, 9 RBI, 9 R, 0 SB in 13 games at Round Rock, 28 for 82, .341/.443/.683 with 5 HR, 20 RBI, 20 R, 2 SB in 24 games at Memphis, was hitless in one at bat over 3 games with the Cardinals and 12 for 45, .267/.365/.378 with 1 HR, 3 RBI, 6 R, 0 SB in 14 games at Gwinnett. Over seven MLB seasons with the Cardinals, Rockies and Pirates he hit .238/.318/.406 with 29 HR, 103 RBI, 94 R, 2 SB in 311 games. His MLB caught stealing rate is 18%. He was originally drafted by the Rockies in the seventh round in 2006. McKenry turned 31 on March 4th.
