Hunter Cervenka traded to Marlins

Hunter Cervenka was traded by the Atlanta Braves to the Miami Marlins on August 6, 2016. The Braves in exchange received Anfernee Seymour and Michael Mader. 

LHP Cervenka had split 2016 between Double A Mississippi and the Braves. He was 0-0, 0.00 ERA, 2 K, 0.67 WHIP, .111 WHIP in 3.0 IP over 2 games at Mississippi and 1-0, 3.18 ERA, 35 K, 1.26 WHIP, .175 BAA in 34.0 IP over 50 games with the Braves. He was originally drafted by the Red Sox in the 27th round in 2008. Cervenka turned 26 on January 3rd.

Seymour is an outfielder who hit .255/.295/.308 with 1 HR, 26 RBI, 61 R, 37 SB in 104 games at Class A Greensboro in 2016. He was originally drafted by the Marlins in the seventh rounf in 2014. Seymour turned 21 on June 24.

LHP Mader was 7-6, 3.50 ERA, 81 K, 1.27 WHIP, .251 BAA in 103.0 IP over 22 games at Class A Advanced Jupiter in 2016. He was originally drafted by the Marlins in the third round in 2014. Mader turned 22 on February 18.
