Angel Castro traded to Athletics

Angel Castro was traded by the St Louis Cardinals to the Oakland Athletics on August 9, 2014 in exchange for cash. The RHP was 9-6, 4.01 ERA, 63 K, 1.29 WHIP, 1 SV in 94.1 IP over 26 games at Triple A Memphis in 2014. He was originally drafted by the Tigers in the 13th round in 2006. Castro will be 32 on November 14.
