Joey Gallo of the Myrtle Beach Pelicans hit three home runs against the Potomac Nationals in a 11-5 victory on May 16, 2014. Myrtle Beach is the Class A Advanced team of the Texas Rangers. For the game Gallo was 4 for 4 with 3 HR, 5 RBI and 4 runs while batting third and playing third base. He hit a solo shot in the third, hit a 2-run blast in the sixth and had another 2-run home run in the eighth.
