Tyler Naquin July 2016 AL Rookie of the Month

Tyler Naquin of the Cleveland Indians was selected the American League Rookie of the Month for July 2016. During the month the he hit 24 for 69, .348/.416/.681 with 5 2B, 6 HR, 15 RBI, 14 R, 1 SB and 9 BB in 20 games. It was a repeat performance after earning the award last month. This season the outfielder is hitting .330/.397/.626 with 13 HR, 34 RBI, 37 R, 3 SB in 73 games. He was originally drafted by the Indians with the 15th pick of the first round in 2012. Naquin turned 25 on April 24.
