Graham Godfrey traded to Red Sox
Graham Godfrey was traded by the Oakland Athletics to the Boston Red Sox on December 7, 2012 to complete the earlier Sandy Rosario deal. The RHP has two seasons of MLB experience after brief stints with the Athletics. He split 2012 between Triple A Sacramento and Oakland and was 9-2 with a 3.29 ERA, 60 K, 1.19 ERA, 1 SV in 104.0 IP over 20 games with Sacramento and was 0-4 with a 6.43 ERA, 10 K, 1.71 WHIP in 21.0 IP over 5 games with Oakland. For his MLB career he is 1-6 with a 5.09 ERA, 23 K, 1.59 WHIP in 46.0 IP over 10 games. He was originally drafted by the Blue Jays in the 34th round in 2006. Godfrey turned 28 on August 9th.
