Kevin Slowey trade player named

Daniel Turpen has been named as the player to complete the Kevin Slowey trade to the Rockies. RHP Turpen will join the Twins organization after spending the 2011 season with the Rockies Double A team in Tulsa. He was 2-4 with a 4.83 ERA, 33 strikeouts, 1.64 WHIP and 11 saves in 59.2 innings over 48 games. He was originally drafted by the Giants in the eighth round in 2007.
