Huston Street trade player named

Nick Schmidt was traded to the Colorado Rockies by the San Diego Padres to complete the trade for Huston Street. LHP Schmidt pitched at the rookie and Class A Advanced levels of the minors in 2011. He was 1-1 with a 4.50 ERA, nine strikeouts and 1.37 WHIP in 8 innings over two games at rookie ball and was 3-5 with a 3.84 ERA, 58 strikeouts and 1.34 WHIP in 63.1 innings over 12 games at Class A Advanced. He was originally drafted by the Padres with the 23rd pick of the first round in 2007.
