Jon Keller was traded by the Baltimore Orioles to the Colorado Rockies on September 7, 2017 to complete and earlier deal for Miguel Castro. The RHP split 2017 between Short Season A Aberdeen, Class A Advanced Frederick and Double A Bowie, He was 2-0, 0.55 ERA, 17 K, 0.55 WHIP, .096 BAA, 1 SV in 16.1 IP over 10 games at Aberdeen, 0-1, 7.04 ERA, 9 K, 2.02 WHIP, .344 BAA, 1 SV in 15.1 IP over 9 games at Frederick and 0-1, 22.50 ERA, 2 K, 4.75 WHIP, .421 BAA in 4.0 IP over 5 games at Bowie. He was originally drafted by the Orioles in the 22nd round in 2013. Keller turned 25 on August 8th.
