Royals halt skid at 12

The Kansas City Royals ended their 12 game losing streak by defeating the Cleveland Indians 8-2 tonight. The bats came alive for the top of the order as Getz, Gordon, Butler and Hosmer all had multiple hits. The last three each also had home runs with Butler clocking two. It would be nice if Butler is finally growing into his power stroke. Hochevar had a decent outing having a line of 6.1 IP, 4 H, 2 ER, 3 BB, 4 K. One other plus is that the win was over a division rival. It's still early in the season and hopefully the young players can shake off the last two weeks and start heading in the other direction.
