Josh Bell traded to Diamondbacks

Josh Bell was traded by the Baltimore Orioles to the Arizona Diamondbacks on April 21, 2012 in exchange for cash. The third baseman split 2011 between Triple A and the Orioles. He hit .253/.320/.428 with 19 HR, 57 RBI, 62 R, 4 SB in 101 games at Triple A and hit .164/.215/.164 with 0 HR, 6 RBI, 6 R, 0 SB in 26 games with the Orioles. He was in Triple A before the trade and was hitting .094/.256/.250 with 1 HR, 3 RBI, 2 R, 0 SB in 9 games. He was originally drafted by the Dodgers in the fourth round in 2005. Bell will be 26 on November 13.
