Bryce Harper hit 3 HR vs RubberDucks 062814
Bryce Harper hit three home runs while playing a rehab game with the Harrisburg Senators in a 10-4 victory over the Akron RubberDucks on June 28, 2014. Harrisburg is the Double A team of the Washington Nationals. For the game he was 4 for 5 with 3 HR, 5 RBI and 3 runs while batting third as the DH. He hit a solo shot in the third inning, added another solo in the fifth and capped the trifecta with a 3-run blast in the eighth. Prior to injuring his thumb the outfielder had hit .289/.352/.422 with 1 HR, 9 RBI, 8 R, 1 SB in 22 games with the Nationals. Over his three season MLB career he has hit .273/.353/.476 with 43 HR, 126 RBI, 177 R, 30 SB in 279 games. He was originally the first overall selection in the 2010 MLB draft by the Nationals. Harper will be 22 on October 16.
