Joe Nathan 300 Save Milestone
Joe Nathan of the Texas Rangers got the 300th save of his MLB career on April 8, 2013 as he secured a 5-4 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays. RHP Nathan has 13 season MLB experience pitching with the Rangers, Twins and Giants. This season he is now 0-0, 2.25 ERA, 5 K, 1.00 WHIP, 2 SV in 4.0 IP over 4 games. For his MLB career he is 51-28, 2.86 ERA, 844 K, 1.10 WHIP, 300 SV in 798.0 IP over 651 games. He was originally drafted by the Giants in the sixth round in 1995. Nathan turned 38 on November 22.
