Lars Anderson traded to White Sox
Lars Anderson was traded by the Toronto Blue Jays to the Chicago White Sox on April 1, 2013 in exchange for cash. Anderson is a 1B\OF with three seasons of minimal MLB experience playing with the Red Sox. He split 2012 between Triple A Pawtucket and Triple A Columbus. He hit .259/.359/.415 with 9 HR, 52 RBI, 49 R, 1 SB in 93 games at Pawtucket and hit .196/.319/.286 with 0 HR, 7 RBI, 4 R, 0 SB in 18 games at Columbus. He went to the Diamondbacks in December as part of a three team deal. Then the Blue Jays and White Sox were playing waiver wire hot potato until they made the deal April 1st. He was originally drafted by the Red Sox in the 18th round in 2006. Anderson turned 25 on September 25.
