I am continuing to follow Bubba Starling and Fred Ford as they make their way up the minor league ranks of the Kansas City Royals. This is the fourth update for 2013. Both Bubba and Fred are at Class A Lexington in the South Atlantic League. The Legends are off to a 8-15 start.
Starling is still slow to break out of a slump as he is hitting .175/.233/.300 with 2 HR, 9 RBI, 10 R, 1 SB in 22 games.
Ford started strong but has been hitless in his last four games as he is now hitting .200/.345/.343 w/ 2 HR, 7 RBI, 7 R, 1 SB in 23 games.
