Casper Wells traded to Athletics

Casper Wells was traded by the Toronto Blue Jays to the Oakland Athletics on April 22, 2013 in exchange for cash. Wells is an outfielder with three seasons MLB experience playing with the Mariners and Tigers. He has not played in 2013 and played in 2012 with the Mariners. He hit .228/.302/.396 with 10 HR, 36 RBI, 42 R, 3 SB in 93 games. For his MLB career he has hit .246/.317/.435 with 25 HR, 80 RBI, 86 R, 6 SB in 224 games. He was originally drafted by the Tigers in the 14th round in 2005. Wells turned 28 on November 23.
