Royals Baby Steps 041713

The Kansas City Royals are making small strides toward improvement this season. Today they took a big step forward with a 1-0 victory over the Atlanta Braves on their home field. The Braves are the best team this season and this will do wonders to boost team confidence. Kudos to Wade Davis on pitching seven strong innings. Kudos to Kelvin Herrera on bouncing back after getting shelled yesterday and holding down the ninth. Kudos to Greg Holland on pitching a near perfect ninth by striking out the side to get the save. Some of the young bats like Hosmer and Moustakas still need to mature but maybe they will be the next to take their baby steps forward.
