Jim Negrych hits for cycle vs Chiefs 041813
Jim Negrych of the Buffalo Bisons hit for the cycle in a 27-9 rout of the Syracuse Chiefs on April 18, 2013. Buffalo is the Triple A team of the Toronto Blue Jays. Negrych hit a triple in the first, singled in the fourth, hit a double in the fifth and got his home run in the sixth. He finished 4 for 7 with one RBI, four runs and a walk while leading off and playing second base. For the season he is hitting .515/.568/.879 with 2 HR, 5 RBI, 12 R, 0 SB in 9 games. Last season he played in the Nationals organization at Double A Harrisburg and Triple A Syracuse. He hit .600/.667/1.000 with 0 HR, 3 RBI, 0 R, 0 SB in 3 games at Harrisburg and hit .264/.357/.391 with 8 HR, 39 RBI, 31 R, 2 SB in 91 games at Syracuse. He was originally drafted by the Pirates in the sixth round in 2006. Negrych turned 28 on March 2nd.
