Jamie Romak 3 HR vs Zephyrs 040913

Jamie Romak of the Triple A Memphis Redbird hit three home runs in  a 18-2 victory over the New Orleans Zephyrs. For the game he was 3 for 5 with 6 RBI and 3 runs while playing right field. He hit a solo shot in the second, a two-run blast in the fifth and capped his trifecta with a three-run home run in the seventh. For the season he is now hitting .389/.450/1.000 with 3 HR, 6 RBI, 6 R, 0 SB in 5 games. 

He split 2012 between the Royals and Cardinals organizations as he played at Triple A Omaha, Double A Springfield and Triple A Memphis. He hit .147/.216/.206 with 0 HR, 2 RBI, 5 R, 0 SB in 11 games at Omaha, hit .267/.356/.453 with 10 HR, 42 RBI, 46 R, 0 SB in 64 games at Springfield and hit .277/.325/.366 with 0 HR, 12 RBI, 9 R, 0 SB in 31 games at Memphis. He was originally drafted by the Braves in the fourth round in 2003. Romak will be 28 on September 30.
