Jai Miller traded to Orioles

Jai Miller was traded by the Oakland Athletics to the Baltimore Orioles on January 3, 2012 in exchange for cash. Miller is an outfielder who has had brief exposure in the majors with the Athletics, Royals and Marlins. He split the 2011 season between Triple and a September call up with the Athletics. He hit .276/.368/.588 with 32 home runs, 88 RBI, 81 runs and 16 steals in 110 games at Triple A and hit .250/.250/.500 with one home run, two RBI, two runs and zero steals in seven games with the Athletics. HE his career he has hit .235/.288/.368 with two home runs, six RBI, seven runs and one steal 28 games. He was originally drafted by the Marlins in the fourth round in 2003.
