Brandon Snyder traded to Rangers
Brandon Snyder was traded by the Baltimore Orioles to the Texas Rangers on January 3, 2012 for cash. Snyder is a first baseman who saw short stints with the Orioles the past two seasons. He split the 2011 season between Triple A and the Orioles. He hit .261/.312/.406 with 14 home runs, 71 RBI, 55 runs and one steal in 114 games at Triple A and hit .231/.412/.308 with zero home runs, one RBI, two runs and zero steals in six games with the Orioles. For his career he has hit .273/.353/.364 with zero home runs, four RBI, three runs and zero steals in 16 games. He was originally drafted by the Orioles with the 13th pick of the first round in 2005.
