Cody Bellinger May 2017 NL Rookie of the Month

Cody Bellinger of the Los Angeles Dodgers was selected the National League Rookie of the Month for May 2017. During the month he hit 26 for 106, .245/.314/.566 with 5 2B, 1 3B, 9 HR, 27 RBI, 22 R, 1 SB and 11 BB in 28 games. This season the third baseman is hitting 34 for 135, .252/.325/.578 with 12 HR, 30 RBI, 26 R, 2 SB in 36 games with the Dodgers and 23 for 67, .343/.429/.627 with 5 HR, 15 RBI, 15 R, 7 SB in 18 games at Triple A Oklahoma City.  He was originally drafted by the Dodgers in the fourth round in 2013. Bellinger will be 22 on July 13.
