Taylor Featherston traded to Rays

Taylor Featherston was traded by the Philadelphia Phillies to the Tampa Bay Rays on June 9, 2017 for cash. The third baseman hit 37 for 137, .270/.370/.394 with 3 HR, 20 RBI, 22 R, 6 SB in 46 games at Triple A Lehigh Valley in 2017. Over two MLB seasons with the Phillies and Angels he hit .156/.207/.233 with 2 HR, 10 RBI, 25 R, 6 SB in 120 games. He was originally drafted by the Rockies in the fifth round in 2011. Featherston will be 28 on October 8th.
