Brendan Ryan traded to Cubs

Brendan Ryan was traded by the New York Yankees to the Chicago Cubs on December 17, 2015 to complete an earlier deal. The SS/2B/3B split 2015 between Class A Advanced Tampa, Double A Trenton, and Triple A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre while rehabbing and the Yankees. He hit .333/.333/.667 with 0 HR, 0 RBI, 0 R, 0 SB in 1 game at Tampa, .240/.345/.280 with 0 HR, 1 RBI, 1 R, 0 SB in 8 games at Trenton, .200/.273/.200 with 0 HR, 0 RBI, 0 R, 0 SB in 3 games at SWB and .229/.275/.333 with 0 HR, 8 RBI, 10 R, 0 SB in 47 games with the Yankees. Over 10 MLB seasons with the Angels, Yankees, Mariners and Cardinals he has hit .233/.293/.314 with 19 HR, 203 RBI, 303 R, 67 SB in 890 games. He was originally drafted by the Cardinals in the seventh round in 2003. Ryan turned 34 on March 26.
