Manny Machado April 2016 AL Player of the Month

Manny Machado of the Baltimore Orioles was selected the American League Player of the Month for April 2016. During the month the third baseman hit 33 for 96, .344/.394/.667 with 10 2B, 7 HR, 16 RBI, 20 R, 0 SB and 7 BB in 23 games. Over four MLB seasons with the Orioles he has hit .285/.334/.468 with 75 HR, 231 RBI, 272 R, 30 SB in 475 games. He was originally drafted by the Orioles with the third pick of the first round in 2010. Machado will be 24 on July 6th.
