Dan Otero traded to Indians

Dan Otero was traded by the Philadelphia Philles to the Cleveland Indians on December 18, 2015 for cash. The RHP split 2015 between Triple A Nashville and the Athletics before being claimed by the Phillies off waivers in November. He was 2-0, 1.95 ERA, 19 K, 0.98 WHIP, .223 BAA in 27.2 IP over 15 games at Nashville and 2-4, 6.75 ERA, 28 K, 1.50 WHIP, .333 BAA in 46.2 IP over 41 games with the Athletics. Over five MLB seasons with the Indians, Athletics and Giants he is 12-6, 3.19 ERA, 125 K, 1.25 WHIP, .278 BAA, 2 SV in 205.2 IP over 175 games. He was originally drafted by the Giants in the 21st round in 2007. Otero turned 31 on February 19.
