Bryce Harper April 2016 NL Player of the Month

Bryce Harper of the Washington Nationals was selected the National League Player of the Month for April 2016. During the month the outfielder hit 22 for 71, .286/.406/.714 with 6 2B, 9 HR, 24 RBI, 16 R, 5 SB and 17 BB in 23 games. Over his five MLB seasons with the Nationals he has hit .288/.385/.524 with 106 HR, 272 RBI, 344 R, 42 SB in 534 games. He was originally drafted by the Nationals with the first over all pick in 2010. Harper will be 24 on October 16.
