Brandon Waddell of the Bradenton Marauders was selected the Florida State League April 2016 Player of the Month. For the month he was 4-0, 0.93 ERA, 26 K, 0.52 WHIP, .133 BAA in 29.0 IP over 5 games. The LHP was then promoted to Double A Altoona where he is is 1-0, 2.84 ERA, 3 K, 0.95 WHIP, .240 BAA in 6.1 IP in 1 game.. Bradenton is the Class A Advanced team of the Pittsburgh Pirates. He was originally drafted by the Pirates in the fifth round in 2015. Waddell will be 22 on June 3rd.
